Broncos Beat Bucs, Siemian Injured
The Broncos defeated the Tampa Bay Bucs 27-7, despite losing starting QB Trevor Siemian to a shoulder injury. Fellow rookie Paxton Lynch replaced Siemian, and played well in relief. The Denver defense continues to dominate. Up next, Atlanta visits Denver.
Sack Daddy
Von Miller continues this year where he left off last year, eating Quarterbacks for lunch. The NFL announced him today as AFC Defensive Player of the Month. Miller leads the league with five quarterback sacks in three games this season. I’m guessing we’re all pretty glad now that John Elway gave him a whole lot of money to stay here.
Trevor Siemian named AFC Offensive Player of the Week
Trevor Siemian has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his incredible week 3 performance against the Bengals. Trevor shredded the Cincinnati defense for 312 yards passing, four touchdowns, and a 132.1 passer rating. Not too shabby for his third start ever!
Broncos Move to 3-0, Siemian Shines
The Broncos beat the Bengals Sunday 29-17, behind a strong performance by QB Trevor Siemian. He threw 4 TD’s in his first road start for the Broncos. Up next Denver travels to Tampa to face the Bucs.
Broncos DeMarcus Ware Injured
According to sources, Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware expected to miss 3-6 weeks with a forearm fracture.
Miller, Talib lead broncos to win over colts
Denver’s defense was dominant Sunday, getting two defensive TD’s and shutting down Andrew Luck to win 34-20. Up next, the Broncos will travel to Cincinnati to face the Bengals.
Broncos open NFL season with win over carolina
Thursday night the Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers 21-20, as a last-second field goal attempt by Carolina goes wide. Trevor Siemian, in his first start as QB of the Broncos, lead his team to a second-half comeback.
Broncos Cut Down to 53, Waive Sanchez
The Broncos have cut their roster down to the required 53. Mark Sanchez was waived Saturday, and was quickly signed by Dallas. Reports have the Broncos signing veteran QB Austin Davis to compete for their 53-man roster.
